Ingredients
- 2 c. cake flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. baking powder
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. milk
Method
- Sift the dry ingredients together and rub well together with the butter, then add the egg, well beaten, then the milk and work lightly, just enough to make a smooth dough.
- Roll out lightly. Place in a deep layer cake tin that has been greased and bake in 375° oven.
