Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Method
- Cook brown sugar and corn syrup slowly for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Beat eggs.
- When syrup cools, add mixture to eggs, stirring all the time.
- Add butter, salt and nuts.
- Pour into unbaked shell.
- Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 425° or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
