Ingredients
- 1 c. rice
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 2 doz. tender okra
- 1/4 lb. salt pork
- 2 large tomatoes
- 1 medium-sized onion
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Slice pork, cut
- up okra, onion and tomatoes, should be steamed for half
- an
- hour.
- Cook rice in boiling water.
- When rice is done, add
- to
- mixture
- of pork, okra, onion and tomatoes. Add seasonings, cook until dry.
