- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 c. quick-cooking oatmeal
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 12 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (16 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
Method
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, oatmeal and brown sugar. Using a pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Reserve 1 1/2 cups of the crumbs. Press remaining crumbs into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake in a 350° oven for 15 minutes.
