Ingredients

  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 green onion, sliced thinly (not needed until day of prep)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (not needed until day of prep)

Method

  • Combine all ingredients & freeze. Thaw overnight (bag in bowl in refrigerator).
  • Cook in slow cooker on low for four hours.
  • Remove meat, shred & return to crockpot for another 30 minutes.
  • Garnish with green onion & sesame seeds. Serve w/ brown rice & broccoli.
