Ingredients
- 2/3 c. oleo, softened
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 4 c. rolled oats
- 1/2 c. light Karo
- 3 tsp. vanilla
- dash of salt
- 2/3 c. crunchy peanut butter
- 1 pkg. chocolate chips
- nuts
Method
- Mix oleo and sugar.
- Add oats, Karo, vanilla and salt.
- Press into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 375° for 14 minutes.
- Cool slightly.
- Mix peanut butter and chocolate chips together.
- Spread over baked oatmeal mixture.
- Top with nuts.
- Refrigerate about 2 hours.
- Cut into bars.
