Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 6 large marshmallows
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 2 1/2 c. nuts
Method
- Combine sugar, water, corn syrup and salt in saucepan.
- Bring to a boil.
- Cook until mixture reaches 230° or just before the soft ball stage.
- Add marshmallows; stir until melted.
- Add vanilla flavoring and 2 1/2 cups of nuts.
- Stir until mixture starts to lose its shine and hardens slightly.
- Quickly turn out on wax paper.
- Separate into individual pieces.
- Cool.
