- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
Method
- Combine meat, onion, bread crumbs, egg, 1/2 the tomato sauce.
- Place in loaf pan.
- Combine remaining tomato sauce, water, brown sugar, vinegar, 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, and dry mustard. Pour over meat and bake at 350°F for 1-1 1/2 hours.
