Ingredients

  • 1 (7.2 oz.) pkg. fluffy white frosting mix
  • 1/3 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 4 to 4 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Beat frosting mix, corn syrup, vanilla and boiling water in small mixer bowl on high speed until stiff peaks form, about 5 minutes. Transfer to large mixer bowl; beat in powdered sugar gradually on low speed.
  • (It may be necessary to stir in the last cup of sugar by hand.)
  • Stir in nuts.
  • Drop mixture by teaspoonful onto waxed paper.
  • Turn over, if necessary, when outside feels firm.
  • Dry at least 12 hours.
