Ingredients
- 1 (7.2 oz.) pkg. fluffy white frosting mix
- 1/3 c. light corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 4 to 4 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Beat frosting mix, corn syrup, vanilla and boiling water in small mixer bowl on high speed until stiff peaks form, about 5 minutes. Transfer to large mixer bowl; beat in powdered sugar gradually on low speed.
- (It may be necessary to stir in the last cup of sugar by hand.)
- Stir in nuts.
- Drop mixture by teaspoonful onto waxed paper.
- Turn over, if necessary, when outside feels firm.
- Dry at least 12 hours.
