Ingredients
- 1 ready made, deep-dish pie crust
- 1 Tbsp. softened butter
- 1 pkg. sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. heavy cream
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
Method
- Place pie crust in pan and crease edges.
- Spread butter over pie crust.
- Preheat oven to 425°.
- Whip together the eggs, sausage, seasonings and cheese.
- Place mixture in pie crust and sprinkle some cheese over top.
- Bake 15 minutes.
- Lower heat to 325° and bake 35 minutes.
