Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 stick margarine
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1 small can tomato soup
  • 1 small bottle "Chicken n Ribs" barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • Texas Pete hot sauce to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Method

  • Melt margarine in sauce pot.
  • Add sugar and vinegar.
  • Bring to boil.
  • Add remaining ingredients except Texas Pete.
  • Add black pepper to taste.
  • Add Texas Pete to taste.
  • Some like it hot, some like it mild.
  • Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
  • Reduce heat; simmer until served.
