Ingredients
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 8 c. yellow cream-style corn
- 1 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. melted butter
- 8 oz. canned chopped chilies
- 3/4 lb. Cheddar cheese
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Combine all ingredients in order listed.
- Pour into buttered 3-quart casserole.
- Bake for 45 minutes.
- Reduce temperature to 325° and bake for 30 minutes more or reduce to 150° and leave for several hours until ready to serve.
- Makes 10 to 12 servings.
