Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. Crisco
- 1/2 egg (2 Tbsp.)
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
Method
- Blend the eggs, water and vinegar together and set aside.
- Mix dry ingredients with shortening until consistency of cornmeal or small peas.
- Make a hole in the center of the dry mixture and add the egg mixture.
- Mix until it forms a ball.
- Divide and roll out. Makes 2 (8 to 9-inch) pie crusts.
