Ingredients
- 4 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 large can evaporated milk
- 1 (12 oz.) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 small jar (5 1/2 to 7 oz.) marshmallow cream
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Cook sugar, milk and margarine.
- Bring to a boil and time for 15 minutes.
- Turn off heat.
- Add chocolate chips until melted; beat for about 15 minutes.
- Add marshmallow cream, vanilla and nuts.
- Beat for 10 minutes more.
- Pour into a greased 13 x 9- inch pan.
- Let cool and cut.
- Yields 4 pounds.
