Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- minced parsley
Method
- Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, milk and salt.
- Shape into 18 meatballs.
- Brown meatballs in shortening.
- Pour in soup and water; bring to a boil.
- Stir in rice and cover.
- Simmer 30 minutes or until rice is tender.
- Stir often.
- Garnish with parsley.
