Ingredients

  • 2 lbs roast beef, Left over
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 packages bovril powder
  • 12 cup water
  • to taste mashed potatoes

Method

  • Grind the roast beef.
  • Saute the onion and add Bovril, water, and
  • beef.
  • Cook for a short time.
  • Put in a casserole.
  • Top with mashed potatoes and put in 375 F oven for about 30 minutes.
  • Brown under broiler.
  • I must admit that I sometimes use a gravy mix instead of the Bovril and about 2 cups of gravy as a replacement is wonderful.
