Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 lb. mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley

Method

  • Mince the garlic.
  • Wash and slice mushrooms.
  • Melt butter and oil in large frying pan over high heat.
  • When the foam subsides, add mushrooms, garlic, salt and pepper.
  • Cook, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms are brown and tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Add salt and pepper if needed; sprinkle with parsley. Perfect with any meat or add to pasta or other vegetables such as green beans or peas.
