Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 (16 oz.) cans green beans, drained
- pepper to taste
Method
- Cook bacon in large skillet until crisp; remove bacon, reserving 3 tablespoons of drippings in skillet.
- Crumble bacon and set aside.
- Add mushrooms and onion to drippings in skillet. Saute until onion is tender.
- Add beans and pepper, cooking until thoroughly heated.
- Place in serving dish and top with crumbled bacon.
