Ingredients
- 1 - unbaked pie shell
- 2 - eggs
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 2 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup pecans
- 12 - pecan halves
Method
- Put eggs, sugar, salt, corn syrup, butter & vanilla in blender and blend well.
- Add 1 c pecans and blend just enough to chop nuts coarsely.
- Pour into pie shell, place pecan halves on top.
- Bake in hot oven (425 degrees) 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking until top is lightly browned, about 30 minutes.
