Ingredients
- pastry (for 2 crust pie)
- 1 can sliced apples, drained
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Method
- In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine all ingredients except butter.
- Turn
- apple
- mix
- into
- pastry
- lined pie plate. Dot with butter and
- cover with top crust.
- Make slits for steam to escape; seal edges.
- Bake
- in
- 425° oven 40 to 45 minutes or until crust
- is
- golden
- brown.
