Ingredients

  • pastry (for 2 crust pie)
  • 1 can sliced apples, drained
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Method

  • In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine all ingredients except butter.
  • Turn

  • lined pie plate. Dot with butter and
  • cover with top crust.
  • Make slits for steam to escape; seal edges.
  • Bake

  • 425° oven 40 to 45 minutes or until crust
