Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. Brer Rabbit molasses (with green label)
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
Method
- Cream butter; add sugar, then egg and cream well.
- Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
- Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
- Roll into sugar.
- Place on greased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 325° for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Cookies will crack on top when done.
