Ingredients
- 2 c. water
- 1 tsp. butter
- 22 Ritz crackers
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- cinnamon
Method
- Bring to a boil the water, sugar, butter and cream of tartar. Drop the crackers in pan and let boil 2 minutes without stirring. Cool.
- Pour into crust.
- Dot with butter and the cinnamon.
- Bake 10 minutes at 400° and reduce heat to 350° for 20 minutes.
- You can put a top crust on, if desired.
