Ingredients
- 3.5 oz marzipan, coarsely grated
- 3 None eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar, plus 3 tbsp
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1 tsp baking powder
- None None pink food coloring
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 2-3 kugelhopf pans with 24 wells.
- Whisk together marzipan, eggs, vanilla extract and 3/4 cup powdered sugar until creamy. Slowly whisk in oil. Add flour and baking powder and mix until smooth. Tint batter pink with food coloring. Transfer to a piping bag. Fill wells 2/3 full with batter and bake for 10 mins. Let cool on a wire rack.
- Dust cakes with remaining powdered sugar.
