Ingredients
- 5 to 6 lb. beef, cooked until nearly dry, chopped fine
- 4 lb. raisins
- 5 to 6 apples
- 2 oz. cinnamon
- 1/4 oz. ginger
- 1/3 oz. cloves
- 1 oz. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 lb. brown sugar
- 1 qt. boiled cider or grape juice
- 1 qt. molasses
Method
- Bring this
- all
- to a boil, stirring often to keep from scorching. Fill jars and seal (cold packing 3 hours).
