Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 (16 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 (6 oz.) bars German sweet chocolate
  • 2 c. marshmallow cream
  • 2 c. chopped walnuts

Method

  • Boil the sugar, butter, salt and evaporated milk for 6 minutes in a heavy saucepan.
  • Place the chocolate chips, German chocolate, marshmallow cream and nuts in a bowl.
  • Pour the boiling syrup over the ingredients.
  • Beat until chocolate is all melted (about 4 minutes).
  • Pour into a lightly greased 8-inch square pan.
  • Makes about 1 1/2 pounds.
