Ingredients
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- pinch of salt
- 1 (16 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 (6 oz.) bars German sweet chocolate
- 2 c. marshmallow cream
- 2 c. chopped walnuts
Method
- Boil the sugar, butter, salt and evaporated milk for 6 minutes in a heavy saucepan.
- Place the chocolate chips, German chocolate, marshmallow cream and nuts in a bowl.
- Pour the boiling syrup over the ingredients.
- Beat until chocolate is all melted (about 4 minutes).
- Pour into a lightly greased 8-inch square pan.
- Makes about 1 1/2 pounds.
