Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 8 egg whites
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1/2 pt. whipped cream

Method

  • Combine first 5 ingredients in large bowl.
  • For added color, add a few drops of red food color.
  • Beat with electric mixer for 15 minutes.
  • Combine graham cracker crumbs and butter.
  • Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Set aside.
  • Whip cream.
  • Fold into strawberry mixture.
  • Pour filling into crust; freeze until firm.
  • Cut into squares.
