Ingredients
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1/3 c. finely minced onion
- 4 med. green peppers
- 2 (8 ounce.) cans tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. water
- 3 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 c. precooked rice
Method
- In medium glass bowl, crumble beef, stir in onions.
- Heat 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 min on high, till brown.
- Drain.
- Stir in 1 can sauce, water, 1 Tbsp.
- cheese, salt and pepper.
- Heat covered 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 min on high.
- Stir in precooked rice; let stand, covered for 5 min.
- Meanwhile, cut peppers in half lengthwise.
- Spoon in filling; place in oblong dish.
- Top with remaining sauce and cheese.
- Heat, covered, 10 to 12 min on high, till tender.
- Let stand, covered, for 5 min.
- Serves 4.
