Ingredients

  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1/3 c. finely minced onion
  • 4 med. green peppers
  • 2 (8 ounce.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 3 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 c. precooked rice

Method

  • In medium glass bowl, crumble beef, stir in onions.
  • Heat 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 min on high, till brown.
  • Drain.
  • Stir in 1 can sauce, water, 1 Tbsp.
  • cheese, salt and pepper.
  • Heat covered 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 min on high.
  • Stir in precooked rice; let stand, covered for 5 min.
  • Meanwhile, cut peppers in half lengthwise.
  • Spoon in filling; place in oblong dish.
  • Top with remaining sauce and cheese.
  • Heat, covered, 10 to 12 min on high, till tender.
  • Let stand, covered, for 5 min.
  • Serves 4.
