Ingredients
- 2 lb. beef round steak, tenderized
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 (6 oz.) can sliced mushrooms (undrained)
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 medium bell pepper, diced
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
Method
- Cut steak into strips, trimming fat; salt and pepper to taste. Coat with flour; place in 2-quart casserole dish.
- Pour mushrooms, onion, green pepper and tomato sauce over steak.
- Cover and cook on Medium for 45 minutes or until meat is tender, stirring once.
- Yield: 8 servings.
