Ingredients
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. water
- 3/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 1/2 c. pecan halves
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. powdered sugar
Method
- In 3-quart microwavable bowl, stir first 5 ingredients. Cover and vent.
- Microwave on high for 8 minutes, stirring after 4 minutes.
- Stir in pecans and vanilla.
- Cook on high, covered, for 2 minutes.
- Stir in powdered sugar until thick and not glossy. Quickly drop by spoonfuls onto buttered waxed paper.
- If mixture becomes thick, stir in a few drops of hot water.
- Makes 20.
