Ingredients
- 1 c. raw Spanish peanuts
- dash of salt
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Karo corn syrup
Method
- Stir sugar, salt and corn syrup together in a 1 3/4-quart dish.
- Cook on High for 4 minutes.
- Stir well and add peanuts. Cook on High for 3 to 4 minutes longer.
- Add vanilla, butter and soda.
- Stir and cook on High for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes longer.
- Stir and pour on greased cookie sheet.
- Cool 1/2 hour; break in pieces.
