Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. instant chicken bouillon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 1/2 c. 1/4-inch sliced carrots
  • parsley for garnish

Method

  • Mix all ingredients except carrots in a 1-quart microwave-proof casserole.
  • Stir in carrots.
  • Cover tightly with plastic wrap and microwave on High 4 minutes.
  • Stir.
  • Cover and microwave until carrots are tender, 4 to 6 minutes longer.
  • Toss with 2 tablespoons parsley.
