Ingredients
- 2 apples
- 2 qt. apple cider
- 8 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tsp. whole cloves
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1 orange
- 1 lemon
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
Method
- Core apples and slice into rings.
- In a large pan, combine cider, cinnamon, cloves, apple rings and raisins.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, until apples are fork tender.
- Thinly slice the orange and lemon.
- Add orange and lemon slices and the lemon juice to the apple mixture.
- Allow to stand for 5 minutes.
- Pour into punch bowl and serve warm or chilled. Makes 1/2 gallon.
