Ingredients
- 1 c. flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1 3/4 to 2 c. boiling water
Method
- Mix first 5 ingredients in 9 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
- Add milk, oil, vanilla and nuts.
- Mix to make batter.
- Sprinkle over this the brown sugar and cocoa combined.
- Gently pour boiling water over the top.
- Microwave for 8 to 10 minutes (High), turning dish after 4 minutes.
- Chocolate syrup will go to the bottom.
- Serve with ice cream and spoon sauce over ice cream.
