Ingredients
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 to 3 heaping Tbsp. Hershey's cocoa
Method
- Mix cocoa in sugar; add milk and Karo.
- Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally to soft ball stage.
- Take off heat; add margarine and cool until pan can be held.
- Add vanilla; beat the fudge until it starts to hold shape in pan for 15 seconds and fudge loses glossiness.
- Pour in buttered plate; score and cut in small squares.
