Ingredients
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- vanilla wafers, crushed
Method
- Cream butter, sugar and egg yolks in bowl.
- Beat in vanilla. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
- Alternate layers of crushed wafers and creamed mixture in 8-inch square baking pan until all ingredients are used, beginning and ending with crushed wafers. Chill in refrigerator.
