Ingredients

  • 1 (12 oz.) bottle Del Monte chili sauce
  • 24 oz. grape jelly
  • 2 lb. ground beef

Method

  • Make meatballs from ground beef, brown and drain.
  • (To stretch the meat you can make meatloaf mixture and form balls, etc.)
  • Mix chili sauce and grape thoroughly.
  • Add meatballs.
  • Cook in oven for 2 hours at 300° or in a crock-pot for 1 hour on high and 3 hours on low.
  • Serve oven mashed potatoes.
  • (Don't tell your guests what your sauce is made of until after your meal is over.
  • The thought of these 2 ingredients together sounds repulsive, but the sauce is very delicious and people will love it if they eat it first and find out your secret later.)
