Ingredients
- 1 lb. chopped meat (the cheap stuff; $1.69 to $1.79 per lb.)
- 3/4 c. flavored breadcrumbs (preferably Italian flavor)
- water
- 1 egg
- olive oil
Method
- Add enough water to the breadcrumbs to make them solidly mushy.
- (I know that's an oxymoron, but it's the best explanation I can think of.)
- Add the mushy breadcrumbs to the chopped meat. Add egg and mix thoroughly.
- Roll into balls.
