Ingredients
- 3 qt. popped popcorn
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. Karo syrup
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Method
- Mix together brown sugar, margarine, Karo syrup and salt. Microwave on High 3 minutes, stirring after each minute.
- Remove and stir in soda.
- Pour over corn in paper bag, stirring or shake it well.
- Put bag in microwave for 1 minute and heat 15 seconds on High.
- Take out and shake the bag.
- Put back in microwave for 1 minute and 15 seconds on High.
- Take the bag out and shake.
- Put back in microwave for 30 seconds.
- Take out and spread on cookie sheets to cool.
