Ingredients

  • 4 whole Bananas
  • 4 Tablespoons Cointreau (optional)
  • 2 cups Vanilla Ice Cream

Method

  • Put whole bananas on the grill, with skins still on. Leave there, turning occasionally, for about 20 minutes or until very soft and the skins are black all over.
  • Remove bananas from the grill and place on a plate. With a very sharp knife, make a slit down the length of the banana. Push sides open with a spoon. Carefully pour 1 tablespoon Cointreau into the open area of the banana. Top with 1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream and serve immediately.
  • This recipe is fine without the alcohol as well, or you can use another type if you prefer.
