Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 lb. diced bacon
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 medium cans crushed tomatoes
- 4 leaves fresh basil
- pinch of salt
- dash of black pepper
- 1 lb. penne or ziti pasta
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Method
- In medium saucepan, saute onion, olive oil and bacon until golden.
- Add crushed tomatoes, basil, salt and pepper.
- Cook for 15 minutes.
- Stir occasionally.
