Ingredients
- 6 large potatoes, pared and chunked
- 1 head garlic, peeled
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 12 cup cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
Method
- Boil potatoes.
- Drain and mash.
- Simmer garlic in butter in a covered saucepan for 20 minutes.
- Beat in flour.
- Whisk in cream and seasonings.
- Bring to a boil.
- Cook one minute.
- Puree garlic mixture.
- Add to potatoes.
- Add extra tbsp butter
- Serve or.
- This can be whipped and pressed out of a large tip decorator in a design.
- Brush with beaten egg
- Broil before serving.
