Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 8 oz. egg noodles
- 2 c. tomato puree
- salt and pepper
- pinch of basil
- 1 lb. cottage cheese
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 small onion
- 1 medium green pepper
Method
- Cook noodles and make bottom layer in 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Brown beef, add puree and seasonings.
- Melt cheese and add to onion and pepper.
- Spread cheese layer over noodles.
- Spread beef mixture over cheeses.
- Bake 1 hour at 325°.
