Ingredients
- 1 (32 oz.) jar dill sliced pickles (Vlasic or other brand can be used), drained well
- 2 1/2 c. sugar (2 2/3 if you prefer sweeter pickles)
- 1/2 c. vinegar (white)
- 2 Tbsp. pickling spice, put in cheesecloth is best (can be used loose also)
Method
- In a large bowl, marinate at room temperature for 24 to 30 hours.
- Mix occasionally during marinating.
- Then you can store in jars (whatever size you want).
- If spices are in cheesecloth, throw them away.
- Refrigerate.
- Keeps for weeks.
