- 1 head broccoli cut into rosettes
- 1 head cauliflower chopped
- 1 c sweet pickle relish
- 1 c green pepper chopped
- 1 c onion chopped
- 3/4 c sugar
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 c cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp onion chopped
- 1 cup salad oil
- 1 Tbsp poppy seeds
Method
- In blender or food processor, mix the first 5 ingredients.
- Mix remaining ingredients.
- Pour over vegetables, cover, and put in refrigerator for at least 24 hours. 48 hours is recommended.
- You can add pimento or chopped red pepper for color when serving if you like.
- (If you add to mixture before day of serving it will make the sauce pink.)
