Ingredients

  • 1 head broccoli cut into rosettes
  • 1 head cauliflower chopped
  • 1 c sweet pickle relish
  • 1 c green pepper chopped
  • 1 c onion chopped
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 c cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp onion chopped
  • 1 cup salad oil
  • 1 Tbsp poppy seeds

Method

  • In blender or food processor, mix the first 5 ingredients.
  • Mix remaining ingredients.
  • Pour over vegetables, cover, and put in refrigerator for at least 24 hours. 48 hours is recommended.
  • You can add pimento or chopped red pepper for color when serving if you like.
  • (If you add to mixture before day of serving it will make the sauce pink.)
