Ingredients

  • 1 lb. box small shells
  • 1 to 2 medium green peppers
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 to 4 stalks celery
  • 1 to 3 carrots
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 2/3 c. oil
  • 2/3 c. vinegar
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt

Method

  • Cook shells according to directions.
  • Rinse in cold water. Drain and set aside.
  • Chop green pepper, onion and celery into small pieces.
  • Grate carrot.
  • Mix soup, oil, vinegar, sugar, dry mustard, pepper and salt in saucepan.
  • Boil for 3 minutes.
  • Pour over macaroni.
  • Add vegetables.
  • Marinate overnight or for several hours.
