Ingredients
- 3 qt. shredded cabbage
- 2 large green peppers, chopped
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 pt. white vinegar
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 tsp. salt
Method
- Mix first 3 ingredients.
- Set aside.
- Mix and bring to a boil; boil for 5 minutes.
- Pour over cabbage while still hot; mix well. Chill at least 24 hours before eating.
- This will keep for months.
