Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. lemon juice
  • 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 3/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. prepared mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 lb. sirloin tip, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
  • 2 large green peppers, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushroom caps
  • 12 cherry tomatoes
  • 12 small onions
  • hot cooked rice (optional)

Method

  • Combine the first 6 ingredients; stir well.
  • Add meat.
  • Cover; marinate 12 hours in refrigerator, turning meat occasionally. Remove meat from marinade, reserving marinade.
  • Alternate meat and vegetables on skewers.
  • Grill over medium coals 15 to 20 minutes, or until desired degree of doneness, basting with marinade.
  • Serve with rice, if desired.
  • Yields 12 servings.
