Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 large (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes or tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. oregano or 1 c. fresh chopped basil or 1 c. chopped parsley
Method
- Saute garlic and onion in oil; do not brown (leave garlic whole; remove later if not desired).
- Add tomatoes or tomato sauce and chosen herb.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer for about 40 minutes.
- Serve over your favorite pasta.
