Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tall can evaporated milk (1 2/3 c.)
  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate bits
  • 12 oz. German sweet chocolate
  • 1 pt. marshmallow cream
  • 2 c. nutmeats

Method

  • Boil sugar, salt, butter and evaporated milk for 6 minutes. Put into a large bowl the chocolate bits, sweet chocolate, marshmallow cream and nutmeats.
  • Pour boiling syrup over ingredients in bowl.
  • Beat until chocolate is melted and pour into pan.
  • Let stand a few hours before cutting.
  • Store in a tin box.
