Ingredients

  • 4 -5 lbs ribs
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 34 cup boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 14 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soya sauce
  • 34 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 12 teaspoon ginger
  • 12 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 12 teaspoon curry powder
  • 14 teaspoon ground cloves

Method

  • Simmer ribs slowly for an hour.
  • Drain and transfer to a roasting pan or crockpot.
  • Dissovle beef cube in the boiling water.
  • Stir in cornstarch that has been mixed with the vinegar.
  • Add remaining ingredients.
  • Pour over ribs and cook approx 45 minutes at 350 .
  • Or 4-6 hours on low in crockpot.
  • Serve with rice.
